Which insurances do I need as an expat in Mallorca?

Which documents do I need to take out an insurance policy?
That depends on the insurance. As a rule we need a copy of your ID card or passport, your NIE number and, where applicable, proof of residence, income or vehicle details.

Can I keep using existing insurance policies from my home country in Mallorca?
