What counts as household effects?
As a rule, furniture and furnishings are considered to be the kitchen furniture and furniture in general and the personal furnishings of the insured living quarters that are not specified as valuables, including the following items:
- Electrical household appliances, electrical and electronic equipment.
- Picture and sound equipment, personal computers, photographic cameras.
- Portable radio and/or television aerials.
- Glass, unless it is included in the building insurance.
- Decorative objects and elements, lamps.
- Clothing, crockery, cutlery, glassware,items for personal use (excluding motor vehicles, trailers and boats),
- Foodstuffs as well as domestic provisions.
