Places we look after on Mallorca

Our office is centrally located on the island and covers all the larger towns. Palma has its own page – the smaller places are listed here at a glance, together with the typical topics we handle for clients there.

Palma de Mallorca

The capital, with very mixed building fabric – the old town, Santa Catalina, Son Vida, Bonanova. A dedicated page with details: Insurance in Palma de Mallorca.

Llucmajor

The south-east of the island, finca country with orchards and remote farmsteads. Take account of fire and burglary risk for rarely occupied houses; a buildings policy with natural-hazard cover.

Manacor

The largest town in the east, with construction and farming. For residents in the hinterland the main topics are motor insurance for longer journeys and buildings policies for stone houses (natural-stone façades, beams).

Calvià (Santa Ponsa, Magaluf, Peguera, Palmanova)

Western Mallorca, with a high density of flats and many holiday apartments. Check community (comunidad) policies, add contents and personal liability cover, motor insurance for second vehicles.

Santa Ponsa

Part of the Calvià municipality, a golf and villa district with a large German community. A villa with pool and garden, personal liability cover including domestic staff, a yacht at the nearby Port Adriano.

Pollença

The north of the island, an old town with heritage protection, Port de Pollença with boat moorings. Buildings policies with heritage-protection clauses and boat insurance are typical topics.

Inca

An inland town between Palma and the east coast, a business and trades hub. Business liability, business interruption and motor insurance for commercial vehicles.

Port d'Andratx

An exclusive marina in the south-west, with high property values. A buildings policy with a high sum insured, a yacht and boat policy, generously set liability cover.

Cala Rajada

A harbour town in the north-east, a mix of year-round residents and holiday flats. Typical topics: check the comunidad policy, contents, boat insurance.

Cala Millor

A tourist centre on the east coast. Many flats in mixed use (own use + letting) – letting clauses in policies are often not correctly reflected, and we check this.

Sa Coma

East of Manacor, a quieter resort and residential area. Standard contents and buildings cover, personal liability for household members and visitors.

Cala d'Or

A yacht and villa resort in the south-east with a large German and Scandinavian community. Boat insurance at the Puerto de Cala d'Or, buildings with a pool and liability cover.

Cala Murada

A small, quiet place near Porto Colom. Detached and semi-detached houses, often occupied seasonally – mind theft and fire clauses for periods of absence.

Santanyí

The south-east coast, a cultural town with a growing share of expats. Buildings policies for sandstone houses and fincas, natural-hazard cover for gota fría events.

Cap Blanc / Cala Figuera

Remote coastal locations at the south-eastern tip. Remote plots with increased fire and burglary risk – calculate buildings and contents sums realistically.

Son Vida

An exclusive villa district above Palma. High sums insured, personal liability for domestic staff, a buildings policy with valuables cover for art or jewellery.

Valldemossa

A mountain village in the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Heritage-protection clauses for buildings insurance, motor insurance with low annual mileage, natural-hazard cover against storms.

Frequently asked questions about insurance brokers on Mallorca

What does the advice cost you?

Nothing. As a broker we are paid by the insurers – there are no additional costs to you compared with taking out a policy directly.

Do I have to be registered as a resident in Spain?

No. We also look after holiday home owners and second homes. Many of our policies work regardless of your residency status.

Can you take over existing policies?

Yes. We review your current contracts, compare them with alternatives and, if you wish, take over all communication with your previous insurer.

What happens if I need to make a claim?

You report the claim to us – in English, by phone or email. We handle the process with the Spanish insurance company and keep you informed.
