What makes Jávea special from an insurance point of view
Jávea is spread across three parts – the old town inland, the harbour (El Puerto) and Playa del Arenal with the hillsides towards the Cap de la Nao, Balcón al Mar and Cap Martí. Many plots are terraced into the slope, with a pool, solar system and demanding building fabric. Storm and hail events occur above average, and gota fría damage on hillsides is no rarity. Buildings policies must cover natural perils, glass, photovoltaics and personal liability properly. Boat and yacht owners at the Club Náutico need standalone policies rather than an included clause.

Can we come to the Jávea office?
Yes. We arrange appointments by phone or email – you speak with an English-speaking contact on site. Many clients, however, settle everything by phone, without the trip to the office.
Is pool and solar-system cover included in standard policies?
Not always – and when it is, often only up to a sum that is too low for modern PV systems. We check sums and exclusions before sign-up.
How does a claim after a gota fría event work?
You report the claim to us – in English. We clarify whether cover runs through your policy or through the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros, and accompany the process through to payout.
